Comment: I suddenly panicked that I had invited 22 eight-year old girls to celebrate my daughter's birthday at a party at my house!!! Then Stephanie came to my rescue. I am not sure how she managed it, but 22 little girls were mesmerized by her crazy balloon tricks, followed by the magic show and disco. Comment: We all loved the Lee-Harper magic show for our daughter’s 3rd birthday party. The kids, mostly 3-4 years old were engaged and enthralled. The puppets were very popular – the kids’ favourite was the beautiful shimmering dragon. The magic tricks were fun too. Stephanie learned all of the childrens’ names immediately, and used their help and advice! Our daughter is normally very shy, but she relished the chance to be magician’s assistant. Stephanie is so good with the children, and so gentle, that my daughter felt comfortable enough to stand up in front of everyone and help. She was really very proud of herself. The parents all said that they enjoyed it too. I’d thoroughly recommend Stephanie’s show to anyone with young children – it was a lot of fun and a party with a difference.

Comment: Having decided to do my son Jack's birthday party at home; entertaining fifteen 9 year olds (and mainly boys!) filled me with much intrepidation. However finding Stephanie - my worries were over and even before the day, I knew from dealing with her that everything would be well organised. Amazingly Stephanie was able to take control and very quickly had learnt all the childrens' names and involved them in her magic show. The birthday boy was made to feel special and the magic was set and appealed to the correct age group with some tricks involving body parts dispappearing! Comment: I used Stephanie Lee-Harper for my son's 4th birthday party which had a Disney Cars theme. As he has complex special needs, I was anxious that everything would fit together and make the perfect day. I e-mailed Stephanie constantly with ideas and to check on finer details. She was always very quick to reply and very helpful each time, even slotting in Evan's favourite "Cars " music as part of the games.
I think the  parents of the party guests are always amazed when they see that Stephanie has memorised all the guests names and chatted to them so they feel almost as special as the party child. Half of the children had seen her show before but seemed just as enthralled and captivated as before! Her magical props and special effects are first class, by far the best I have ever seen in a children's magic show.
Stephanie is extremely well organised and efficient, which really takes the pressure off the party hosts, all you need to worry about is bringing the cake, food and party bags. She would be ideal to use at a wedding or an a mixed age event as her show is magical enough to keep everyone entertained!

I thought your show was fantastic and quite clearly, so did each and every one of the children.  I know from experience that they're a lively lot and prone to making their own entertainment when they become a little bored but they were totally captivated throughout.   It was an absolute joy to hear their riotous laughter and watch their faces as the show unfolded. 

I was amazed that you were able to match the children's energy and enthusiasm for the whole two hours (is that magic or can you share the secret cos I could do with some!).   Feedback from other parents confirms that the children were exhausted that night - something that even a Playzone party can't achieve (a bonus in itself)!  My own two are still discussing how you managed some of the tricks (and I think I can safely say, that for some they haven't got a clue!).   Excellent value for money even without all the extra prizes and balloon models you gave away.

Comment: Thanks so much for entertaining our rabble on the 5th, we are amazed by how you captured the imagination of so many children under 5 years, no tears, no drams - it was by all accounts a stress free party for 25 children (didn’t think that was possible!). We loved the magic wand trick and were stunned by how you managed to get Sam to stand up in front of all his friends like that – he is really quite shy when it comes to being the centre of attention.

Comment: Stephanie kept 19 four to five year olds fully engaged for the whole two hour period, which as a parent I consider is a feat of magic in its own right. I was impressed with the range and different types of interaction that Stephanie has developed as part of her show, even the mums and dads stayed to watch. Would highly recommend

Comment: Thank you so much for doing Jaydon and Skye party you made it so easy for us. Our fav part was the story with the puppets, you had the children glued and a great way of involving them in the story so they didnt feel like they just had to sit there and listen. The part with the puppet and the extra mic so he spoke for himself was amazing you even had all the parents wowing at each other. I really liked the dragoon(so cute)!! Several of the parents couldn't believe how well you held crowd control, and asked for you details for there own childrens party's. Thank you.

 Roger and I were very impressed and pleased with your show. It was fun and entertaining, and kept the childrens' attention throughout. We loved your energy and enthusiasm and the way you remebered all the childrens' names and involved them individually.

One week after our party we attended another at the same venue but with a different entertainer. It was amazing to see the difference between the two shows. Comment:  Thanks for providing a brilliant party. I will answer your questions as best
I can - I didn't get time to watch much of your show at all, as there was so
much to do in the background; my husband saw more, but not all. I had seen
you before and saw how well you entertained a huge number of children for a
long period of time and that even my son, who can be shy and reluctant to
join in a crowd situation, had a lovely time which is why I thought you
would be the right person. He certainly had no problem about being
center-stage at his party, which again was really positive, as he can hate
group focus on him.

I thought my older son (aged 7) and friend might find it too young, but they
were more than happy to sit and watch you - Joshua thought that your magic
was great.

I was also aware (and from the last party) about how good you were at
controlling your audience. Some of the boys attending can be a bit lively
and fidgity and I was worried as to whether they would sit still and
appreciate you (whereas I knew that the girls would), but they were all very
calm and well-behaved. One of my friends who was watching said that you were
very good at being the entertainter, then switching to teacher mode if a
child was not where he/she should be or doing what they should be doing, and
then you would get straight back into entertainment mode. Your teaching
experience with children really shows, and it is very impressive the way you
learnt their names and didn't let them move too far out of the group. The
other big thing is the way you got them feeling included in the show and got
them to join in - that really helps the atmosphere and the fun. Plus the
structure is good - magic and entertainment, then a break for food plus
balloons if they want them, then a few games and dancing to shake off their
energy. You were right about keeping them all together too, and not letting
some branch out on their own and keep playing football.

There were a couple that didn't join in, but there were specific reasons. One
has an autistic disorder so was mainly with his mum, and was (unfortunately)
scared of the puppets but that is because of his condition I think. Another
one I think was just in a really bad mood and can be a bit shy, and was not
going to join in with anything at all on that particular day, and my little
niece was with her dad feeling a bit shy and tired, but her big sister had a
great time.

You had humour for both the kids and adults and kept the kids wondering what you were going to do next.I asked the boys and Evan loved the funny parrot, the music and his favourite bit was opening the chest.Henry loved the underpants bit with the scarf! I don't know if you have boys, but toilet humour is so big in our house(ugh! ha!:)and they really loved the swords. Evan said he didn't like my arm being chopped off but he was highly worked up that day. He knew it wasn't real ,but for some reason it still upset him. I think you should keep it in the show though! Comment: Stephanie Firstly the feedback from the parents has been fantastic and let me let you we are a funny lot and having sat through many a party entertainer myself you have certainly stood out. A lot of parents have come up to me in the play ground and singled me out to let me know how much they and their child enjoyed it. I have had two parents who has seen you before but both have said they were impressed as the "act" was not the same. A few parents told me liked the fact that you tried the parachute but it didn't work (I guess because of the structure of the party) so you quickly changed to something else. I had so many say they couldn't believe how you know the children's name so quickly. I noticed this to and it really took the child by surprise and made them listen more waiting for you so say their name next. I think the way you managed to fill 2 hours and keep 24 3 year olds 'spellbound' was an amazing feat, and remembering all of their names (apart from Jemimas!!!). Comment: Hi Stephanie Just to say that all the children that came to our wedding loved The Lee-Harper Magic Show, it was great to see kids of all ages joining in and to hear their laughter. The weather on the day was dreadful, but with the magic show to keep them entertained, the kids didn't mind at all that they couldn't play outside'. I particularly liked it that all the kids got a balloon animal, it was really nice that they had something to keep from the show - even if there were a few tears when they popped ;o).
